…you never go back. Supposedly. But I have and I’m sure many others have as well. I bounce back and forth between white, black and brown. People place waaaaaay too much emphasis on dick size and not enough on skill/emotion.

I had my first black boyfriend when I was 20. He was my last until I was 27. Why?

I am a drunk drama fest

(Allow me to apologize in advance for the length of this.)

First of all, Pretty Blond forgot her lei so I left mine in the car. I didn’t really need it anyway because I forgot that, as one guy in a grocery store once told me, I am a “dick magnet.” Especially foreigner’s of non-European decent. And anyone who is not white. But I’ll get to that.

I think that girls going out together tend to be a drama fest of some sort.

I’m never drinking again. (I say that every time I drink.)

Talking to Girls 2

If you ever wanna feel better about yourself, visit a minority majority neighborhood. Seriously. White guys are afraid to talk to girls, black men will talk to anyone. So when a guy talks to you, don’t look at him because then you won’t know if he’s ugly or not, pretend he’s hot and take whatever comes out of his mouth as a compliment.

Because he must have meant it as a compliment, right?

Talking to Girls

Is it just me, or do guys not know how to talk to girls? Not that I bother talking to guys, mind you. I always figure that even if I find someone attractive there will be at least one thing about him that I can’t stand. (GO OPTIMISM!!!)

In my world, guys rarely get it right. I’m gonna be a little racist and stereotype people here in a second. (GO ME!!!)

So the Lionheart Guy and I met again for another round of drinks. We start making out again which was good because I kinda decided that he was a little boring and didn’t need to talk too much. So I needed to keep his mouth busy.

I posted a Craiglist ad in the beginning of January. Had a few seemingly good responses. One was cute, but bored me to tears. The other was just completely horrible .

Needless to say, I didn’t expect much when going into the third date. All I knew was that he had really nice eyes and was offering free alcohol down on Lark Street.

I date outside of my race/ethnicity/culture. Etc. I have dated Black Americans, Arabs, Africans, Indians, White Americans and white foreigners. Maybe I’m different. I like to mix it up a little, do something different.

Dating the same guy over and over just doesn’t do it for me. Some of my friends seem to date guys that are all very similar. Every guy they date has the same personality and interests. It didn’t work the first time, so just keep doing the same thing over and over, I guess.

I have no idea why this was important to my (soon to be ex) Husband. I just remember one day, in the beginning of our relationship, he asked this question.

I justlaughed.

So The Blackest Man on Earth called me during Ramadan. He invited me over but I didn’t think we would actually have sex due to the whole fasting thing. (I’ve asked a couple guys I work with whether they can have sex during Ramadan. I guess as long as it’s night and you’re married, it’s okay. Not married=not okay. I believe it’s supposed to be not married=not okay all the time but it’s something the guys I hung out with didn’t seem to practice.)

I don’t know what I thought we would do, hang out and talk maybe? But that isn’t what happened. View full article »
